  Plan for 4-5 hours to experience this massive estate. Arrive early at 10:00 to avoid the crowd. There are animals (I feel bad for them having to live in concrete pens) that children can visit. Overall, this is a child-friendly establishment that has the occasional interactive exhibit.

  Very interesting. You can see here how it was in the past. Which machines were used to do olive oil, vine, flour, to work on the field. There is a torture room as well.

  A great after-lunch activity is to drive to Esplores and find the spring hidden in the woods. Very good water when you find it.

  There are complimentary snacks offered at the end of the tour, but I highly recommend buying the food. The portions are enormous (I came in starved - I could have given away half my food. Plan to split the bocadillos, especially if you are with children.)

  A vast, diverse and varied walking experience. Suitable for many kinds of outings from an aimless wander or a cake and coffee pitstop to a historical walking tour. Entrance to the entire place is paid but access to the cafe is free. Cafe food and drinks vary in quality (e.g. Chocolate milkshake was just a bottle of laccao chocolate milk, whereas the hamburger was freshly prepared and really tasty.) Overall, well impressed with all of the Granja's impressive features and history.
